About this weekend…

I tapped out… and I mean I really tapped out from all things work and socials & it felt sooo good!

I spent a day in the kitchen baking and reminded myself how much I actually love it when I don’t HAVE to do it but WANT to do it.

I went to the gym, worked my butt off & then relaxed in the spa followed by breakfast 🍳. Not on a time limit, not scheduled to the minute, just going with the flow!

We had the grandbaby & @mellor199428 for the weekend. We talked, played, ate yummy food & just had the best time!

Yes, there were moments when I was thinking sh*t I SHOULD be doing this or that, but then I remembered that ME time and switching off IS IMPORTANT!

What’s the point in building a business & working hard if you don’t take time off to enjoy what you have achieved?!

So, this is your little reminder that sometimes totally switching off is EXACTLY what you need!

Last Night I Filled My Cup ❤️

We spend so much time in our businesses, head down, pushing forward. Growing. Evolving.

That sometimes we forget we need to fill up our cup for US!

I am guilty as charged for this one and always put off self care because ‘I just need to get this done’ or ‘I just need to go back to this client’ - When in reality, looking after ME is looking after THEM.

When I am refreshed, they get the best version of me 🙌🏻

Last night me and my business bestie @amanda.glasper (& soul sister!) grabbed the beach hut for the night, with a flask of cacao ☕️, a candle 🕯️, some food 🍲, & sat and talked for hours!

We totally recharged our batteries and re filled our cup!

Don’t underestimate the power of looking after YOU! This morning I have woken up, refreshed, happy & ready to go!
